The NB401 is a rectangular 32x60 inch size Acrylic bath. It can be used along a wall or In an alcove. This bathtub is ideal
for replacing a smaller standard 30x60, 14 inch bathtub with the
deeper acrylic Bath. This models is nearly double the water
volume compared to a standard steel or caste iron bathtub. You should
order the optional tiling flange if you intend to use this
bath as a combination shower and bath. The NB401 also has molded in soap dishes and comfortable armrest. You may also want to consider
the Emerald 5Sk that has the integral skirt.
This model features simple styling and an end drain and is the ideal bath for any
of the following configurations: Shower bathtub, Soaker tub, Whirlpool
bathtub, Airbath, and any of the therapy combination packages. This
smaller size Baths is well suited for persons of normal size and
weight. Typically up to 200 pounds in weight and 6 feet Tall. Heavier
persons may want to consider a wider bath that will accommodate more
water displacement. The NB401 bath is not considered a two person bathtubs,
although it will often accommodate two smaller people.
